IMPORTANT QUESTIONS
What You Need to Know
01
Who can get CCS?
To determine your eligibility for CCS, you need to complete an assessment. This is done using the myGov app. To complete your assessment, you need to ensure that you link your Centrelink account to your myGov account and provide the correct CRN and date of birth for both you and your child. Also, please ensure that the correct parent/ guardian is the account holder.
03
How do you claim?
CCS will be paid directly to Citipointe. We pass this payment on to you in fee reductions. So you only pay the gap between the subsidy and the standard fee charged. To ensure you get your CCS refund, you will need to complete an assessment for CCS when (or before) each child starts attending Citipointe.
04
How to manage your payment?
Once you have completed your assessment, you will receive a Complying Written Arrangement (CWA) in Xplor then you need to confirm the enrolment in MyGov. The CWA is an ongoing agreement between Citipointe Early Childhood Education & Care Services and a Parent/Guardian to provide care in return for fees. To access your CCS funding, you need to accept your CWA in the MyGov app. You can view the status of your CWA via your myGov account.
05
What other help is available?
If you’re eligible for CCS, you may get extra help with the cost of approved child care known as the Additional Child Care Subsidy. You must be eligible for CCS AND you need to be ONE of the following:
• an eligible grandparent getting an income support payment
• transitioning from certain income support payments to work
• experiencing temporary financial hardship
• caring for a child who is vulnerable or at risk of harm, abuse or neglect.
